Kenya AA Plus coffee description
The rich red volcanic soils of the central region are known to produce some of the best coffees coming out of Kenya.
Kianjege Coffee Factory is located in Central Province, Kirinyaga District in Kariti location of Ndia Division near Karatina town.
It was established in 1987 and rests on a 7 acres piece of land serving Nyagathi, Nyangio and Kimathi Villages. This delicious AA Plus coffee is firstly hand-sorted for green and overripe cherries to ensure every single bean is the absolute best it can be – the ‘AA’ quality.
The ‘AA’ denotes beans that are at least a quarter of an inch wide, and AA Plus is the highest quality measurement available in this area. Rounded and creamy body, with a very bright upfront citric acidity. Notes of sugar cane and creamy sweetness of blackcurrant jam and vanilla.
